Dragonfly Boatworks is hiring an experienced Gel Coat Finisher / Boat Repair Technician to support repair, finish, and quality work on our boats. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on ability, attention to detail, and experience producing clean, consistent finish work in a shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform gel coat finishing and cosmetic boat repairs
- Complete sanding, fairing, patching, and surface prep work
- Use hand tools and electric tools safely and effectively
- Inspect work carefully and maintain high quality standards
- Follow shop procedures, safety requirements, and production instructions
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete repair work on schedule
Qualifications
- Previous experience in gel coat finishing, boat repair, fiberglass work, or related finish/repair work
- Strong working knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math
- Clear English communication for job instructions, safety, and teamwork
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
